Reported Speech: Ejercicios B1-C2 y PDF con Soluciones

Dominar el Reported Speech (o estilo indirecto) es uno de los mayores hitos en el aprendizaje del inglés. No basta con conocer las reglas teóricas sobre el cambio de tiempos verbales; la clave reside en la automatización de esas reglas a través de la práctica constante.

Bloque 1 — Backshift y afirmaciones (B1-B2)

El backshift es el cambio de tiempo verbal al pasar de estilo directo a indirecto.

Ejercicio 1: Transforma al estilo indirecto

1. "I work in Madrid," she said.
2. "We are studying for the exam," they said.
3. "I will call you tomorrow," he said.
4. "I can speak three languages," she said.
5. "I have finished the report," he said.

Soluciones:

1. She said (that) she worked in Madrid.
2. They said (that) they were studying for the exam.
3. He said (that) he would call me the next day.

Ejercicio 2: Cambia pronombres y expresiones de tiempo

1. "I saw her yesterday," he said.
2. "We will travel here next week," they said.
